Digidesign Rack/Yosemite/Logic Pro X Issues – Logic Pro – Logic Pro Help

Posting on behalf of school, our current setup is a little outdated and we have a few audio interface issues, sometime meaning that the interface fownload to rigi restarted multiple times during a recording session – really not helpful!! Basically the audio gets into the desk, through it and into the interface fine.

Where the system falls down is that the interface refuses to talk properly dgi the iMac Up until quite recently we had a PC running Pro Tools 7 that it was talking to with no issues – apart from the PC being 14 years old and really slow. We get a variety of error messages, ranging from “Audio-Midi Sync Error” to “Audio Device has been disconnected” and as a result “The number of midi inputs and outputs has changed”.

We have installed the I think – the ICT support did it correct Digidesign drivers but I’m not sure if that it the source of the issue or not – they certainly don’t look like they were designed for Yosemite It is currently running at 44,Hz and 16 bit. Ideally this would be higher but I would just like it to work first!!! I’m willing to try out anything that might help – Thanks in advance.

What is the interface compatible with? I think you may have misunderstood. I’m not attached to Yosemite. The only function the iMac fulfills is for recording – it sits in the studio at school.
