Logic Pro You probably can’t get Logic Pro X Of course it works on Catalina. Wouldn’t be very smart or profitable of Apple to release their own apps that don’t support their own current OS’s.
Not only does it work in Catalina, but if you want logic I just updated from Mojave to Catalina last week. Luckily not only did things seem to go fine, the computer MacBook Pro feels Like it is running better on Catalina. Absolutely no issues here whatsoever on Catalina. Humming along. Apple keeps its own apps up to date to work on current macOS.
Catalina is no longer current, it’s one version behind current, which is Big Sur. And then there were bug fixes after that. I agree that Apple has fallen down on providing OS and hardware compatibility information. There is nothing published that is easily found that indicates what the minimum requirements are for Logic.
This is what they do now.
