Win10 consistently fails to download and install onto my PC currently running Win7 since 30 Jul. From 30 Jul to 7 Aug Failed Code is detailed but I haven’t found what this precise code failure means. The download process hasn’t taken too long up until now. If I was a betting man then at the Preparing to Install phase after the download phase I am expecting another failed download with some code.

But I have had other issues with Windows 10 as well e. Therefore, because I am having a few issues with Windows 10 I’ve re-installed Windows 7. I’ll consider Windows 10 again in a few months when the initial emergent issues from the ‘field testing’ to the mass public have been resolved through updates so that Windows 10 is a better product.

I’d have hit the “Me Too” button, but I do not get error codes. The window says it is cleaning up, then another comes up looking for updates. The update search takes forever so I close it, and the cleanup window is still running. I try to close it but it just keeps on running it is still running. I have to force a shut down of my CPU to get rid of the window. I have searched online for a solution but most of the results are for store apps fixes that I did not even get to.
