Have tried off and on for a couple of hours even switch to a different computer, still no luck. I definitely will purchase a new copy of PSE. I currently have PSE11 and think it is a great product. OMG, What a ripoff! Based on that I plan to update.

If you did unzip your files first, then your computer may be set to open jpegs and psd files in PSE Google how to change this preference for your computer so the files open in your desired program.

That glitch fix alone would make it worth my while. I would suggest that you download the a trial version and check it out. Do let me know what you find! I did download the trial and YAY!!!! They fixed it! Thanks, Linda, for your review.

Check out this link…. It only works for 20 files, then you have to empty the cache again. I thought I was the only one with the problem with the recently edited files and gave up on it!

Before PSE 15 it worked perfectly! Thanks so much for the tutorials for the new PSE. Love the new features! As usual, thank you so much for alerting us to the new version of Photoshop Elements and covering all of the new features for us. One of the annoying features of PSE 15 is that whenever you hit the move tool it covers up the photo bin. Has that been changed? Is there some magic settings where this can be overridden?

I must hit the move tool a million times and I have to go down and hit the photo bin button each time to open it. Have you turned off the automatic opening of the Tool Bin? Hi Linda — I got so excited to be able to turn off the automatic opening of the tool bin, but of course nothing is that easy for me.

Is the bounding box any darker? I hope so! The bounding box is still pretty light. I mostly use the Transform tool when I resize so you might try that. You can use it with any tool, not just the Move tool. Make your changes, click OK, and it disappears from view. I love it! You can upload several photos at a time and click on each one to instantly apply those eyes. It really is like magic! I used to slave over a photo to do that, and then I had to get the skin tone to match as well.

This does a pretty good job of matching skin, but if something is slightly off, you can adjust it. Watch the video to see my tip for making adjustments after the fact. I just love the pet eye corrector and the content aware move tool and straighten tool. I can also see myself using the puzzle effect on my pages. So, yes, I will be upgrading to 12! I hope I win!! I think I have advanced enough to move up and into one of the newer Elements. I think by looking at all the new features, the things I want to do will be easier in the newer software. Learning how to do new things with the software is now my passion. I am constantly learning from Photoshop Elements Magazine, the adobe website, pinterest, facebook and scrapbook designers. The wealth of available resources is sometimes overwhelming but absolutely awesome. I have used PSE 4, 7, and I have tried other software programs and always comeback to PSE.

It may not be as user friendly but if I dig deep enough I hardly ever fail to produce the product and look I am happy with. Just wait until I get a wild hair — which is often! I upgraded to PSE 11 and love it! The content move really intrigues me. Boy — have I ever been waiting for this one!!

Was using PE6 on an older computer and loved it. When we purchased a newer computer one of the first things I purchased was PE Just got it in June and am still learning how to use it.

Yes, I definitely need to upgrade to the PSE I currently have PSE 7. Not so happy about the loss of the magic extractor, however! But with the upgrade, I could still extract on PSE9 and do the rest on 12! I plan to upgrade this time. I just inherited my parents photos and want a way to repair the old photos.

I have not been successful with previous versions and think this new guided restoration is just what I need. Plus I love the pet eye and new sorting categories. The Auto Smart tool is one I think I would enjoy…some of the other effects and texture tools also would be great to explore and incorporate into my pages. I use RAW all the time and it looks as though that is being upgraded and made into a better tool. Its always been a struggle to me to get that to work right. However, since about half of my photos are of my cats, I would love to have the pet eye correction feature. Therefore, I will be on the lookout for PSE I have toyed with upgrading over the last 2 years but am still on the fence.

All my digital kits are nicely sorted in my organizer and the last 2 times I upgraded, I lost all my tags and had to practically start from scratch.
