But the user can also modify the archetype, depending on the needs of the proposed project and the information that is available at the preliminary stage.

Or the user may prefer to work in square feet and Btu, change the fuel input costs, add financial incentives, or set ambitious targets for energy efficiency. The user can simply adjust the relevant values in the archetype and all other values automatically recalculate. Existing archetypes are updated as necessary particularly the integrated cost data and new archetypes are continuously under development.
