Late in the day yesterday I downloaded the Free Trial Version of three editions of Microsoft Office available: Home and Student. Office trial is no more available for download at Microsoft site. You may have to purchase the full version of Office suite by going. Students and educators at eligible institutions can sign up for Office Education for free, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft.

At the beginning of the download I was given a Product Code and instructed to write it down for later use. Upon completion of the download I clicked on the Office Icon on the Touch Screen and a long process of updating Apps occurred. When the actual installation of Office began I was asked for the Product Code which I typed in to the dialog box.
I went to Microsoft Support page and entered this same information and have yet to get a reply. After completing the very long survey I went back to the Support Page and again entered this same information, but have not received any response at all from any of those attempts.
Please tell me where to go from here. I am a registered user of Office 97, but am hesitant to uninstall this trial version of Office and attempt to install Office 97 because I am not sure that Windows 8 will support. If you respond to this question, please tell me whether or not it is advisable to uninstall Office and install Office 97 or please tell me how to correct the installation of Office Office ’97 definitely trual not compatible with Windows 8.

Simply go to the Microsoft Office Trial page there you will see three editions of Microsoft Office available: Home and Student, Home and Business and the Professional edition. Most consumers will fres these Office applications are what they need and use, if you believe you need programs such as Office Communicator, InfoPath, SharePoint Workspace for collaboration, then Stucent Professional Plus is probably what you do need. In my case, I am going to go with Office Home and Business just for this article, if I find out I need more features and programs, you simply download the trial for that edition.
